January 1st
New Year Day Party by Lite Work Events
Kick off 2017 with many of Boston’s urban young professionals at this “casual yet high energy brunch/day party.” The event is from 3pm to 8pm at Kingston Grille & Bar Boston.

January 5th
A Nupe Celebration
Ladies this one may be for you! Come mingle with the Boston chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity as they celebrate 106 years of brotherhood!

January 6th
Cooking on a Budget: SNAP-ED Nutrition Workshops
A free program presented by the UMass Extension Nutrition Education Program, The KITCHEN at Boston Public Market is hosting nutrition workshops focusing on topics such as smart shopping, portion sizes and understanding MyPlate federal nutrition guidelines. This is an ongoing program taking place on these additional dates: February 3, March 3, 17, 24 & 31.

Museum of Fine Arts First Friday
The MFA’s monthly weekend kickoff provides an evening of fine art, music, signature cocktails and snacks (for purchase). Tickets often sell out, so definitely purchase in advance.

January 7th
Come Thru 2017: Vision Board Party 
Boston’s own bloggers Lisa a La Mode and Actually Ashley, are hosting this awesome vision board party and networking event! In addition, there will be goodie bags, giveaways, a photo booth, light snacks, mimosas and more!
