Black Artists Speak: Opportunity, Activism & Community
Running from April 19 through the 22, artists Heather Hart and Jina Valentine will be at Boston University conducting Black Lunch Table sessions and wiki edit-a-thons, as well as participating in a public panel discussion on black artists and activism.

Third Thursdays: All the Feels
Gather in the evening at the Gardner, soak up the atmosphere of the historic courtyard garden, and explore the light-filled spaces of the new wing. Free music and a cash wine bar each night, plus artist and spotlight talks in the galleries. Join in clever gallery games, sketching, and a chance to get a little messy in their new art studio too. This month the Gardner celebrates the theme: All of the Feels. Choose your own tangential adventure and experience live music and pop-up performances meant to move and inspire!

Network Night – “Welcome Summer”
Join UrbanEdge for the first weekly Network Night with Urban Edge – get summer program resources for all ages, connect with new opportunities and participate in a 50/50 raffle. Dinner and childcare is also provided! And don’t forget to come back the next Thursday or any Thursday thereafter to keep building your network!

Project Poetry Presents Let’s Talk About It

Join Project Poetry for their open mic night, TALK ABOUT IT where you’ll be able to perform your poetry in front of a supportive audience. The Open Mic night is open to poets of Project Poetry and anyone else who would like to share one of their poems with others. So why not come along and enjoy an evening of poetry as performed by local artists. Registration opens at 6:00.

Spring Food Truck Festival
Come celebrate your favorite #GreenwayFood Trucks and Trikes as they kick off spring on The Greenway! Come down to the Wharf District Parks, between Milk and India Streets, for the annual Spring Food Truck Festival supported by Stop & Shop and Peapod.

Black Violin
South End
Black Violin is a blend of classical, hip-hop, rock, R&B, and bluegrass music. When performing live, they are accompanied by their incredible band, featuring ace turntable whiz DJ SPS and a drummer. Named one of the hottest bands at SXSW in 2013, Black Violin was invited to perform at Bonnaroo and returned to SXSW this year to standing-room-only crowds. Boston you don’t want to miss!

Riddim & Brunch
Spring hasn’t sprung quite yet, but NYA.Boston is determined to remedy your spring fever with a special edition of #RnBrunchBos. We invited our homies YVNG PAVLand Brian Karanja aka Bearly Pablo from the CLLCTV BOSTON to kickoff our first “Riddim & Brunch” of 2017. As always, RYU will kick things off early with the R&B vibes and will make way for Pablo and El Gran Orso’s unique blend of Reggae, Dancehall, Soca and Afrobeats. Make sure to RSVP using the link above!

The Hangover
Set to a 90’s and 00’s soundtrack, The Hangover is a day party powered by music, food, fashion, art and a dope group of people. Hosted by VH Style Lab and J&S Entrepreneurial Entertainment, sounds by Bobby Bangers and DeeJay MoT and a fashion exhibit by Diaspora Africa. The day party kicks off at 2pm and brunch service will be from 2PM-5PM. Brunch RSVP is strongly suggested – email!

Southern Comfort Day Party
This Spring, LiteWork Events and the Greater Boston Morehouse College Alumni Association are bringing a little piece of the South to Boston!
