Celebration of Summer IV: Donna Summer Roller Disco Party
Get your groove on at our 4th annual roller disco party honoring five-time Grammy winner and Boston native, Donna Summer! Celebration of Summer IV will feature a performance by Mary Gaines Bernard, music provided by New England’s Finest DJ Roy Barboza and appearances by O’Mega Red, as well as members of Donna Summer’s family. Try out your roller disco moves on the skating rink! If you don’t have your own skates, the City of Boston will be providing free rentals on a first come, first serve basis.

Join talk show host, best selling author, and entrepreneur, Yolanda Lewis, M.B.A. for the second annual Grown Women Real Talk Expo! This year’s “Just wanna Have Fun” themed 2-DAY expo event celebrates the balancing act of womanhood through fun, rejuvenation, and resourceful information for women and the betterment of their relational health.

The Festival of Us, You, We & Them
For the third year, and this time within our “25 & Dancing On” anniversary year celebration, The Dance Complex is throwing open its historic doors and taking to the street for a weekend-long celebration of the arts and movement. Friday night features a tribute to our community with afternoon-to-evening dancing in the street: a 25 minute non-flash flash mob and an illumination of our 5 story facade with dance images and video. Saturday and Sunday includes pop-up performances and classes, our Teaching Artists and Student Concerts and spontaneous acts of creation. Many events are free and ALL are open to the public for their enjoyment.

Black Lives Matter Symposium
BLM Cambridge is hosting a day-long symposium focused on achieving racial justice and social equity in the Metro-North, and beyond. Keynote speakers include BLM Co-Founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors, and Executive director of the Marsha P. Johnson Institute, Elle Hearns. Also featuring BLM Cambrdige and DiDi Delgado. Join us as we envision and work towards creating a lasting and equitable future!

Join us for the 5th Annual Boston JerkFest. Same location, same great time. Note that this is day 2 of a (2-day event). The Rum & Brew Tasting is Friday, June 23, 2017.

FAME Charity Fashion Event – Summer Edition
FAME supports entrepreneurs in the fashion, entertainment, and arts industries by providing professional opportunities for exposure, while supporting Massachusetts charities committed to strengthening their local communities. Proceeds from this event will benefit two Cambridge-based groups: $1,000.00 to the family of Yerusalem “Salem” Amanuel, a young Eritrean woman from Cambridge critically injured in a 2011 hit and run accident; and $500.00 to The Possible Project, a student business incubator encouraging youth entrepreneurship. The event will be held in Cambridge at the Dante Alighieri Society of Massachusetts on Saturday, June 24, 2017. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. to allow ticket holders to shop exclusive fashions and accessories available for sale at the event. The runway show begins at 8:00 p.m. sharp displaying 8 fashion designers. There will be light appetizer’s and a cash bar. VIP’s receive one complimentary drink and there will be live entertainment. Tickets can be purchased for $30- $75 at the link above.

Cheap Seats 42 – Hip Story Takeover
Boston’s only omni-genre variety show stitched into a theatrical six-ring circus, CHEAP SEATS features 5-minute sets from local luminaries and new comers alike. Dozens of musicians, poets, comedians, dancers, prestidigitators, visual & conceptual artists converge on Central Square for a rapid-fire round robin all over the Y Theater’s stage, floor, balconies and chandeliers. CHEAP SEATS is the place to see veteran artists stretch their chops or be blown away by something completely unheard of. Always all ages and wheelchair accessible.
